All Day Session – Price £35
10th January 2015
This is a 6 Hour Portrait Session for anybody interested in working on a longer pose.
The problem with some art groups is the lack of time to produce anything substantial. Louis is offering an all day drawing session with a total of 6 hours working from the model so people have more time to investigate subtly and detail of the face.
There will also be a maximum of ten 10 people. With no more than 5 people per model so they can be nearer the subject for closer inspection.
There will be an hour for lunch and two 15 minute breaks in the morning and afternoon. Tea and cake provided and a fridge and microwave offered or local shop and café bar for those dining out.
Note, If your interested in attending a Portrait Workshop then this is a good opportunity to paint alongside Louis Smith and see if his approach is right for you
All Day Session = £35
To register for the course, fill in your details and pay a £10 deposit below. Then pay the balance on the day. An email will be sent to confirm your attendance the week before the start date.
6 Hours, 1 hour break for lunch
Prices for Hotels in Manchester centre vary depending on the football. I would recommend staying in Altrincham its about 20 mins from Cornbrook Tram Station which is around the corner from the studio. If your on foot the Premier Inn is a short walk from Altrincham Station if your driving there are other hotels that are cheaper. Altrincham is a nice part of Manchester and if you fancy somewhere nice posh for a couple of drinks then Hale is just around the corner.
